TIMOTHY K. STUART

MY NAME IS TIMOTHY K. STUART AND I AM FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER FROM SAINT LOUIS, MO. I HAVE BEING DOING GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR OVER FOURTEEN YEARS. FOR TWELVE OF THOSE YEARS, I WORKED MAINLY AS A TATTOO ARTIST. AT THE BEGINNING OF MY TENTH YEAR TATTOOING, I FELT A DESIRE FOR SOMETHING MORE AND CHOSE TO GO BACK TO COLLEGE TO PURSUE A DEGREE IN SOFTWARE/WEB DESIGN AND GRADUATED FEELING UNFULFILLED. I CONTINUED TATTOOING UNTIL THE PANDEMIC AND FAMILY HEALTH CONDITIONS FORCED ME TO MAKE A LIFE CHANGING DECISION TO LEAVE MY TATTOO MACHINE BEHIND AND ADAPT TO THE NEW WORLD. I REVISITED MY ORIGINS AND DECIDED TO MAKE A CAREER IN WHAT I DO BEST...GRAPHIC DESIGN. I JUMPED IN HEAD FIRST AND DECIDED TO OPEN MY OWN FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDIO SO I COULD PURSUE MY PASSION AND ALTERED GRAPHICS LLC WAS BORN. SADLY, I LOST MY MOTHER TO CANCER SHORTLY AFTER MY GRAND OPENING AND GRIEF OVERCAME ME. I MADE A PROMISE TO MYSELF THAT, IN HER NAME, I WOULD NOT WASTE THIS OPPORTUNITY I WAS MAKING FOR MYSELF. HER MEMORY DRIVES ME TO PUT MY BEST INTO EVERYTHING I DO WHICH ALLOWS ME TO GIVE YOU THE BEST.

...listens to ideas and brings them to life

five_star_edited.png

Tim over there really listens to ideas and brings them to life with his artwork. Im a terrible artist but he really helped me out of a bind.

Great quality work at a great price...

five_star_edited.png

I have a disc golf company that does custom/limited run discs and apparel. Tim and Altered Graphics did an incredible job with multiple images that he created. Great quality work at a great price and best of all… everything was done quick regardless of my last minute changes. Thanks again Tim and looking forward to continuing to work with Altered Graphics.

Ryan

...brings a passion and technical skill to his art...

five_star_edited.png

Tim brings a passion and technical skill to his art that I have hardly seen elsewhere. But beyond passion, for production work deadlines are critical, so I really appreciate how responsive Tim was. Thanks man, we couldn't have done it without you!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are Source and Vector files?

Source files are the files created from the program/s used to create your design (Photoshop/Illustrator/Affinity/etc). Alternatively, Vector files are source files strictly for vector graphics which allow you to manipulate and scale the graphic without damaging the image quality.

What is a 3D mockup?

A 3D mock up may not be what you thought. In logo design, a 3D mockup is the presentation of your logo in an image of some sort of real-life object or place. Like on a billboard or a coffee mug. These images are meant to give you an idea of what your logo will look like out in the real world and on real products.

What is included with the stationery?

Included in the stationery are standard business cards, folded cards, custom letterhead, windowed and non-windowed envelopes (US #9 and #10), and 9"x12" letter envelopes. Stationery designs are 300dpi CMYK color and come in pdf format with print and cut lines.

What is included with the Social Media Kit?

The social media kit includes all standard profile and banner image sizes featuring your logo or graphic for up to 3 of your chosen social media platforms (e.g. Facebook,YouTube, Instagram, etc.)

How long will a revision take?

This mainly depends on the project we're working on. 1. For logo design, a revision generally take within 1-2 business days depending on the complexity of the design. 2. Photo touch-ups are usually revised within 24 hours or less. 3. Vector art, digital paintings/illustrations, composites, and videos/animated graphic revisions are a case by case basis depending on what needs to be revised.

What is needed to start a logo commision?

1. Your brand's name or the text you wish to be displayed as the logo and a brief description/mission statement of your business. 2. If you have one, a description of your logo idea (as detailed as you can be). 3. Any slogans you want incorporated. 4. Your target audience (Age-Gender-location-other). 5. A color scheme/palette if you have one - if not, I can help you develop one that matches your brand.

How much does a revision cost?

Assuming all specified requirements have been met, every new project is allowed two free revisions. After that, the price of a revision will be dependant on the nature of what needs to be revised. To avoid needing revisions make sure to be as detailed as possible when specifying your requirements for your project.

How do I order a commision?

1. Go to our contact page and fill out the "Request a Comission" form and click submit. Be as detailed as possible where applicable. 2. I will send you a confirmation email at my earliest convenience with any remaining questions I have about your project. 3. When I am satisfied that I understand the reqirements for your project we will discuss a price and I should be able to give you a timeframe for completion. 4. When the project is completed I will email a link to you for a Google Drive folder containing a low resolution or water marked version of your project for you to assess and determine if any revisions need to be made. 5. When you are satisfied with the product, you will be prompted to make payment and I will release the full quality version and any/all project files in a zipped folder contained in the same Google drive folder. 6. That folder will be deleted after seven days, however, I will keep a copy of your project for up to two years; in the event you lose your copy of the files and need further adjustments/additions.
